The Results are in - But its not Over Until its Over Election 2004

Now that the election has passed and the reality of our choices have settled in, there is a growing fear that we have chosen the greater and not the lesser of two evils. Well, I wish to reassure each of you who read these words, that we have not truly descended into the gates of Hell.

Sadly, the result of this election has returned to power an administration who’s ideology is not particularly friendly to the average person and tends to favor deeply conservative values over the benefits of more progressive ideals.

Still we are not powerless. There is a prominent concept in martial arts theory that says” never go directly against your opponents strength - instead, just flow with it. Although your opponent may be stronger than you, he is not stronger than himself. We may not be able to change the outcome of this election but we still have the ability to guide those in power with our thoughts and prayers as it serves the highest good.. Whether it’s through prayer, the direction of focused positive thoughts or even sending healing energy is not important. Each means has its benefits and each should do as they feel guided. The most important aspect however, is for each of us to send out our prayers, thoughts and energies with the intention that they serve the highest good. In this subtle way, those who are in power may be guided to be less indulgent of there baser natures and more empowered to reach for and embrace solutions to those problems that affect us all while serving the highest good,

We are all more powerful than we can imagine and our very thoughts create the reality we live in. If you choose to embrace the concept that all is lost and that we will never again see the light of day, than indeed that is what will come about. But if each of you who read these words can embrace the concept that where there is light, darkness recedes - we can as a people help to offset the negative experience we fear.

We all recognize that it is virtually impossible for any one of us singularly to change the world.
However, when we act with like purpose - choosing the higher path while embracing our hearts guidance - we step away from aspects of ego that teach us to fear. In releasing that fear we expand into a greater understanding and acceptance of ourselves and each other.

Collectively, we have the power to change the world. Whether we are acting in concert with others or on our own, each and every choice we make that supports the higher good benefits all of us. Its through this simple and effective approach that change occurs. Please don’t lose sight of this concept my friends, for although things look bleak right now, a new day lies ahead filled with the promise of what can be if we allow ourselves to perceive it. It has often been said that “it is darkest before the dawn”, yet with each new day the dawn does indeed come.

We are in a period of significant transformation and although the days ahead appear bleak we can indeed change our world just by changing our thoughts. You need not be silent. All it takes is a willingness to believe that you matter and your thoughts have power. If what you accept that what you focus on becomes reality, then create the greater reality you truly desire. One that embraces the highest good for all.
